Molly Neves was born and raised in Utah. She attended BYU, graduating with a BFA in Printmaking and a degree in Art Education. She taught art as an elementary art specialist for five wonderful years and completed a Masters in Art Education at Brigham Young University. While studying as a masters student, she fell in love with landscape painting and the respect it offers to our surroundings as she worked with students on several place-based art education projects investigating our connection to the landscapes that surround us. She especially enjoys plein air painting and has participated and won awards in the Midway Plein Air Paradise and the Holladay Plein Air competitions.
She has taken workshops with Kate Starling, Rob Adamson and John Poon.
Currently she is a full-time mother to three beautiful children and appreciates the moments when she can sneak away to paint, ski, bike and eat chocolate.
